A while back, I was approached by Janel Russell to show off their GORGEOUS jewelry and after doing some consulting, and telling them a bit about sweet Tuesday, they decided that they would like to help me out with a fundraiser! How awesome are they!?!?
They sent me this beautiful necklace to auction off!!!!

It's a Mother and 2 children (or twins) It's a GORGEOUS Sterling silver piece and worth $55

Tuesday Blog Party ~ Music Box w/ Poem Written by Tuesday's Grandmother

From now until May 12th, I am holding this give-away to help benefit the Tuesday Fiona Whitt Foundation.
Tuesday was the beautiful twin daughter of my dear friend Jessica Kate who bravely fought and sadly lost her 8 month battle with stage 4 neuroblastoma in January of this year.
My friends and I from Jess' multiples group have decided to put together an annual blog party to help raise funds to fight pediatric cancer, specifically neuroblastoma, as it is the least funded of ALL cancers yet one of the most fatal :(

I have the very distinct honor of hosting a very special item for this give-away...
A poem written by Tuesday's grandmother, Leslie.
Leslie is Jess' mom and someone I have come to respect and appreciate as a woman with such incredible emotion and empathy that it's no wonder Jess is such an amazing woman.
When Leslie asked me if I would want her poem for the Blog Party, I was both humbled and floored.
Her words and emotions that she managed to convey just a few days after Tuesday's passing are what I consider to be our most priceless item we are auctioning.

This beautiful music box has a 4x6 frame which holds the poem written by Leslie Hanks, Tuesday's grandmother, entitled My Precious Tuesday.

When you open the lid, it plays Amazing Grace.

*In case you are wondering, the final word of the poem is "yaaaah", which was Tuesday's standard reply to anything asked of her once she came out of her 6 week long coma.
In Leslie's words," Such a sweet and grateful spirit."
